Shipyard remains undefeated in Budweiser men's soccer

[December 13, 2016 - Harmon, Guam] The currently undefeated Guam Shipyard team remains perched atop Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division standings following a 3-2 edge of the Bank of Guam Strykers in a Week 7 match Sunday evening at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Shipyard’s Camden Aguon powered in the eventual game-winning shot in stoppage time on a goalmouth scramble following a corner kick and his team held on to win in its closest fixture so far this season. In the teams’ previous meeting this season, Shipyard blanked the Strykers 5-0 on Nov. 19.

Kenneth Karosich and Mark Chargualaf also scored for the winning team. Jacques Diambra-Odi scored for the Strykers. The Strykers other goal came on a Shipyard own goal in the 84th minute, which evened the match before Aguon’s shot.
