[March 27, 2017 - Harmon, Guam] Bank of Guam Strykers weakened NAPA Rovers FC’s bid for a four-peat in the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division with a 6-2 win Saturday at the Guam Football Association National Training Center in the latest division standings released by the GFA Men’s Committee.

The Rovers (10-3) came into the match at the No. 2 position in league standings and needed a win to regain the frontrunner position over Guam Shipyard (11-2) based on head-to-head competition, with just three weeks left to play.

The Strykers had different plans for the three-time defending champions, powering to a 3-0 lead at halftime and continuing with high intensity to close out the match. Sixteen-year-old Clayton Mitchell led all scorers with a hat trick and teammates Scott Spindel, Aidan Dickson, and Alan Thomas also scored. Ashton Surber and Jan Flores scored for the Rovers.
