[October 2, 2016 – Harmon, Guam] – The pouring rain is the culprit for the cancellation of the much anticipated FIFA Live Your Goals Festival for Women, as well as Week 2 of the Bud Light Women’s Soccer League.

The announcement came moments ago from GFA Women’s Administrator Grace Martinez, who also said updates regarding a possible rescheduled date will be made at a later time.

Matches scheduled for Week 2 of the Bud Light Women’s Soccer League will be played at the end of the season before playoffs.

Women’s soccer action continues next Sunday with regularly scheduled Week 3 matches: Personal Finance Center Lady Crushers vs the Bank of Guam Lady Strykers at 4 p.m. followed by Quality Distributors against Nutrition Mission Heat at 6 p.m. Napa Rovers FC will play against Hyundai in the late match at 8 p.m.
