Triple J RW Youth League Opens Season in Rainy Conditions

[February 12, 2017 – Harmon, Guam] – Rain didn’t deter close to 1,000 youth soccer players from playing their opening matches of the Triple J Auto Group Robbie Webber Youth Soccer League Saturday at the Guam Football Association.

What started as a nice, sunny morning quickly featured heavy rain showers before the afternoon, with many of the U6 and U8 teams joyfully playing in muddy conditions on the upper grass fields.

Only the U6 to U13 age divisions began play Saturday, with the U15 and U18 division teams to open their Spring season with matches on Feb. 18.

Additionally, hundreds more youth soccer players in the Aloha Maid Minetgot Cup Elite Youth League are patiently waiting for their season openers, scheduled for Feb. 25.
