16 Jan Triple J Robbie Webber League Continues With Week 2
[February 19, 2018 – Harmon, Guam] – Close to 120 teams in the Triple J Auto Group Robbie Webber Youth Soccer League continued with Week 2 matches at the Guam Football Association National Training Center Saturday.
In the U11 Division, Tumon Typhoons Soccer Club-IDL, ASC Trust Islanders Betde and Islanders Asut, NBG Riptides, the Guam Shipyard Wolverines, and the Bank of Guam Strykers all continue with undefeated records through Week 2. In Week 2 matches, Tumon-IDL defeated the Wings 10-2, ASC Trust Islanders Betde defeated the GPSI Southern Cobras 9-1, ASC Trust Islanders Asut drew 2-2 with the Bank of Guam Strykers, the MWR Riptides defeated the FC Barrigada Crusaders 6-2, and the Guam Shipyard Wolverines defeated the NAPA Rovers 7-1.
In other U11 Division matches, Sidekick SC’s Blue team defeated the Heat and its White team picked up a forfeit win over the Tigers, Tumon Typhoons Soccer Club defeated the Bombers SC 4-2, and Community First/Days Inn Dededo Soccer Club drew 2-2 with Quality Distributors.
In the U13 Division, Community First/Days Inn Dededo Soccer Club tops league standings through Week 2 with its 5-1 win over Quality Distributors. The Sidekick SC rallied from two goals down at halftime to defeat Tumon Typhoons Soccer Club 4-2 to take the No. 2 spot in league standings after two weeks. The FC Barrigada Crusaders round out the top three undefeated teams in the division with a 3-0 win over Matson Southern Heat.
In other U13 Division matches, the NAPA Rovers picked up their first win of the season with a 5-1 victory over the Guam Shipyard Wolverines and the GPSI Southern Cobras battled to a 1-1 draw with the ASC Trust Islanders Betde.
In the U15 Division, the GPSI Southern Cobras, Community First/Days Inn Dededo Soccer Club, and FC Barrigada Crusaders all stay undefeated through Week 2 of the league. The Cobras defeated the ASC Trust Islanders 5-3, Dededo defeated Quality Distributors 10-7, and the Crusaders nipped the Guam Shipyard Wolverines 3-2. In the other Week 2 match, the NAPA Rovers won via forfeit over Tumon Typhoons Soccer Club.
In the U18 Division, the Guam Shipyard Wolverines defeated FC Barrigada Crusaders and the NAPA Rovers won via forfeit over the Tumon Typhoons Soccer Club.
