Strykers Three-Peat in U14 Division of Youth Soccer

[May 9, 2015 – Harmon, Guam] – The Strykers FC’s U14 division team finished the Triple J Auto Group Robbie Webber Youth Soccer League Spring season undefeated with the division’s best record (9-0-1) for their third-straight U14 division championship title at the Guam Football Association National Training Center after defeating the ASC Trust Islanders Apaka in Week 11 play.

In the Strykers’ match against the Islanders Apaka, Ethan Elwell scored four goals and Joshua Calvo scored twice for the winning team. Nicolas Taitano scored for the Islanders Apaka.

Tigers defeated the Islanders Betde 5-2 to claim the division’s second-best record (9-1) for second place in standings. Wings Red blanked the Southern Cobras for the division’s third-best record (8-1-1).

In other matches of the day, Wings Black defeated Community First Dededo Soccer Club 3-2, the Guam Shipyard Wolverines defeated the Islanders Asut 3-1, and Tsunami defeated the Sidekick SC via forfeit.
