Strykers Nab 2014 Beach Soccer Championship Title

Gen Fudo and Shawn Spindel each scored a hat trick in the win. Hiro Asoshina scored the Strykers’ other goal. James Bush led Quality with two goals and teammates Takefumi Inoue, Scott Spindel, and Shane Casey, Jr. also scored. Quality’s other goal came on a Strykers own goal. In the consolation match, the Crushers FC Orange claimed third place in the league with a victory via forfeit over the Crushers FC White.

In the semifinals, the Strykers managed to fend off the Crushers FC Orange 6-5, led by Fudo and Kerr’s two goals each. Nault and Chargualaf also scored for the Strykers. Jon Odell led the Crushers FC Orange with a hat trick. Kevin Tainatongo and Justin Samonte also scored for the Crushers FC Orange. Quality defeated the Crushers FC White 9-5 in the day’s other semifinal match. Scott Spindel led Quality with a double hat trick. Inoue, Shane Casey, and James Bush also scored. Sisank Kotwal contributed a hat trick for the Crushers FC White and teammates Ajay Potehn and Joshua Pangelinan each scored once.
