Rovers Recognized as Sixth-straight Bud League Champs

[May 28, 2019 – Harmon, Guam] The NAPA Rovers FC wrapped up the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division season with the team’s sixth straight league title – finishing with an undefeated 19-0-2 record – and were recognized during an awards presentation event Sunday evening at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Also recognized were silver finishers, the Bank of Guam Strykers FC, finishing the 2018-2019 season with a second-best 16-3-2 record.

The awards presentation event also included recognition of winners in the Amateur Division and the Masters Division.

Manhoben Lalahi’s Alexander Stenson accepts the Golden Glove Award of the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division during an awards ceremony held at the Guam Football Association National Training Center Sunday evening. Stenson had the league-best goalkeeping record, allowing only an average of 1.8 goals per match with four clean sheets.
