Quality Distributors Pull Off Upset Against Napa Rovers

[January 18, 2017 – Harmon, Guam] – The NAPA Rovers FC’s ascent to the top of the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division standings was short-lived, as No. 3 Quality Distributors pulled off a 3-2 upset win in Week 9, according to the latest league statistics released by the Guam Football Association Men’s Committee.

A remarkable diving save by Quality goalkeeper Brett Maluwelmeng on a Marcus Lopez penalty kick late in the second half kept the winning team up at 3-1, but a minor defensive lapse in the 88th minute allowed Lopez to eventually score, cutting the Rovers’ deficit to one goal.
