Para i onra, para i gloria is a recurring feature on GuamFA.com, with profiles of selected players from Guam’s national teams.

In the third installment for the Matao, featured players are Marcus Lopez and Jonahan Romero. The players are part of the Matao, a team that most recently won the EAFF East Asian Cup Round 1 tournament in Guam, for the third straight time.

The Matao played against Macau, Mongolia, and the Northern Mariana Islands in the Round 1 tournament.

Guam will now move on to the tournament’s semifinal round in Chinese Taipei in November to face Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei and DPR Korea.
