06 Feb NAPA Rovers win 2025-2026 men’s futsal crown with 6-5 win over Wings
[February 6, 2026 – Harmon, Guam] NAPA Rovers FC avenged a regular-season loss to Wings FC to claim the club’s second-straight Guam Football Association Men’s Futsal League title with a 6-5 championship match victory Thursday evening at the Astumbo gym.
Dev Bachani and Morgan McKenna each had two goals for the winning team and teammates Michael Castaneda and Justin Cruz also contributed one each for the NAPA Rovers FC.
Tanner Federico and Ashlan Chavez scored twice for the Wings FC and teammate Alik Morgan scored the team’s other goal.

Following the championship match, the NAPA Rovers FC were awarded the league’s champions trophy and gold medals by GFA Executive Committee member and GFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee chairperson Fred Alig II. With the second-place finish, Wings FC received silver medals.
Also recognized in the awards ceremony were the NAPA Rovers FC’s Justin Cruz and Julius Campos, the league’s Golden Boot and Golden Glove winners, respectively. Cruz led all goal scorers during the regular season with 26, one more than teammate Edler De Castro. Campos was the league’s top goalkeeper allowing an average of only 2.875 goals per match and finishing with two clean sheets. Both Cruz and Campos also won individual awards in the previous 2024-2025 season. The NAPA Rovers FC also topped all other league statistics, dominating both ends of the court. The team scored a league-high 123 goals in eight matches and allowed only 23 goals for a goal difference of +100.
Wings FC entered league playoffs as the No. 1-ranked team based on head-to-head competition following a regular-season 7-6 win over the NAPA Rovers FC in Week 10 play on Jan. 20. Both teams finished the regular season with identical 7-1 records. The Wings’ lone loss came in the league’s opening week, a 9-8 contest against the Bank of Guam Strykers FC.
In the opening round of playoffs, NAPA Rovers advanced to the semifinals with a forfeit win over Southern Cobras FC, while Wings FC blanked Omega Southern Heat 12-0 for a spot in the semifinals. Frank Thao led all scorers with five goals and Gavin Baker finished with a hat trick. Ashton Boone scored twice for Wings FC and teammates Tanner Federico and Tsepo Perakis also scored in the win.
In the semifinal matches played Feb. 3, Wings FC defeated Quality Distributors FC 6-3 with two goals each from Tanner Federico and Tsepo Perakis and one each from Frank Thao and Jehren Banuchi. Brandon Auayan scored twice for Quality and Gedise Merredy scored the team’s other goal.
NAPA Rovers FC set up the finals fixture with Wings FC after defeated the Bank of Guam Strykers FC 8-1 in the league’s other semifinal match. Justin Cruz and George Martinez each scored twice to lead all scorers and teammates Edler De Castro, Dev Bachani, and Michael Castaneda also scored. The Rovers’ other goal came on a Strykers FC own goal. Andrew Stenson scored the Strykers’ lone goal.
