[May 15, 2016 – Harmon, Guam] – The Personal Finance Center Lady Crushers were crowned champions of the sand pitch after the one-day Fun in the Sun II Women’s Beach Soccer Tournament held Sunday at the Guam Football Association National Training Center beach soccer court.

Earlier in the day, the Lady Crushers were dropped to the Losers Bracket by the Lady Rovers, but clawed back into the main draw with wins over the Isla Paint and Roofing Supply Lady Strykers and Pacific Cooling Island Breeze.

In the winner-take-all championship match, the Lady Crushers defeated the Lady Rovers 4-2.

The Lady Crushers’ Anjelica Perez also was recognized during the awards presentation as the tournament’s Golden Boot winner with 15 goals scored.
