Iseke, Stewart participate in online AFC MA & RA GS Conference

[June 12, 2020 – Harmon, Guam] Guam Football Association General Secretary Marvin “Ike” Iseke and GFA Executive Director Cheri Stewart recently participated in Asian Football Confederation’s first-ever Online AFC MA & RA General Secretaries Conference over the span of two days.

With information gathered from distinguished presenters during the two-day conference, Iseke and Stewart will strategize with the GFA team to better position the association in terms of resuming operations and adopting best practices from across Asia to implement in football’s return to Guam.

Stewart said in an interview with AFC, “The partnership and unity between Member Associations and the AFC is as strong as ever. This has been exemplified over the last two days through the incredible teamwork, sharing of best practices and collective commitment to elevate Asian football at all levels. The last two days have been essential in strengthening our capabilities as general secretaries and I want to thank the AFC for organizing such a vibrant program and bringing together esteemed speakers of varied backgrounds – all of whom contributed significantly to the success of the Conference.”
