21 Nov Heavy Hitters Heat top Bud Light G League standings after 2 weeks
[November 20, 2025 – Harmon, Guam] Heavy Hitters Southern Heat is off to a commanding start in the Bud Light G League Women 2025-2026 season, topping league standings with two wins, 20 goals scored and zero goals allowed after two weeks of play at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.
The Heat won its season opener against defending champions Bank of Guam Strykers FC 3-0 on Nov. 9 and followed with 17 goals against Quality Distributors in its second shutout win in Week 2 play. Taylor Camin currently leads the Golden Boot race with nine goals from the two matches, with two against the Strykers and seven against Quality. Cindy Maestrecampo scored the Heat’s other goal against the Strykers and scored another against Quality. Richelle Ragadio contributed a hat trick in the Heat’s win over Quality and teammates Camarin Perez and Sierra Bettis scored twice. Crista Cruz and Emily Aleckson scored the Heat’s other goal to complete the 17-goal haul.
NAPA Rovers FC currently sit in second place in league standings based on goal differential. The Rovers first blanked Sidekick SC 12-0 in its opener Nov. 9 and followed with an 8-4 victory over Häagen-Dazs Islanders FC in Week 2 play. In the Rovers’ opening match win, Franshay Pangelinan and Arianna Bishop each scored four goals and teammates Marlena Connelley, Jodee Halili, Cassandra Kido, and Monica Marquez chipped in one goal each in the shutout. Pangelinan, Connelley, and Cadence Mansapit each scored twice in the team’s Week 2 win, and teammates Kido and Jessica Dela Cruz also scored. Aubrey Ibanez finished with a hat trick for the Islanders and teammate Jaelyn Han scored once in the loss.
Newcomer to the league, Wings FC, is the only other undefeated team in the league, first winning 3-0 in its season opener against Guam Shipyard II, followed by a 4-0 victory over the Strykers. Jinae Teria, Giselle Dahilig, and Ariya Cruz each scored once against Guam Shipyard II. Analea Meno led all scorers with two in the Wings’ match against the Strykers and teammates Hinengi San Nicolas and Gabriella Flores also scored.
Last season’s runner-up Guam Shipyard I is 1-1 in league standings after dropping its season opener to the Islanders 4-3 and winning in Week 2 against the Guam U16 Girls National Academy 4-1. In its first match, Connica Baza, Ryley Munoz, and Manami Manglona each scored once in the loss. Aubrey Ibanez finished with a hat trick for the Islanders and teammate Jaelyn Han also scored. In Guam Shipyard’s match against the U16 Girls Academy, Connica Baza scored twice in the win and teammates Manami Manglona and Loyola Phillip each scored once. Charlie Mesa scored the lone goal for the U16 Academy team.
Guam Shipyard II also is a 1-1 after two weeks following its season opener loss to the Wings FC and next, winning 5-3 against Sidekick SC in Week 2. In Guam Shipyard II’s Week 2 win, Rhoda Bamba and Charlie Mesa each scored twice and teammate Elyse Concepcion scored once. Brianna Crisostomo scored twice for Sidekick SC and teammate Kimberly Kono scored the team’s other goal.
The league continues this weekend with Guam Shipyard II playing against the Guam U16 Women’s National Academy at 2 p.m. Saturday, followed by Guam Shipyard I against the Bank of Guam Strykers FC at 4 p.m.
In Sunday’s triple header, the Häagen-Dazs Islanders FC will take on Sidekick SC at 12 noon, followed by Heavy Hitters Southern Heat against the NAPA Rovers FC at 2 p.m. in the battle of the top two teams in the league. Quality Distributors FC will play against Wings FC at 4 p.m. in the day’s late match.
