Guam U14 Boys Team to Compete in AFC Regional Festival

[September 4, 2016 – Harmon, Guam] – Guam’s U14 Boys national football team departed early Sunday morning to compete in the AFC U14 Regional Festival of Football 2016 in Beijing China set to begin Sept. 6 through to Sept. 11.

The team is set to compete against the Northern Mariana Islands, Mongolia, Korea Republic and Japan. In addition to the team competing, two referees from Guam, Kyle Legozzie and Michael Topasna recently concluded a referee course in China and will receive assignments in U14 Boys festival matches.

The players traveling are Micah Hennegan, Hayden Shedd, Kyle Halehale, Joshua Miller, Mark Iseke, James Lee, Josiah Duenas, Joshua Bamba, Kainoa Ferguson, Allan Aranas, Matthew Iseke, Robert Niu, Shane Larkin, Juan Sarmiento, Graysen Garber, Michael Lee, Alex Rodriguez, and Niclas Vavra.

Coaches traveling with the team are Kevin Elwell, Matthew Elwell, Christopher Shaver, and Mark Chargualaf.
