GFA Countdown to AFC Women’s Football Day 6: Anjelica Perez

We’re counting down to AFC Women’s Football Day on March 8, with seven profiles of women in football here in Guam ! #AFCWFD Our sixth profile features Guam Women’s National Team “Masakåda” Captain Anjelica Perez! Anjelica was called up to train with the Guam Women’s National team for the first time in 2005 when she was just 14 years old, while also having played for Guam’s U16 and U19 Women’s National Teams. She was later appointed Captain beginning 2012. At the intercollegiate level, Anjelica played for the St. Martin’s University Saints, an NCAA Division II university in Lacey, Washington. In 2011, she was named to the All-Conference Academic Team in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
