We’re counting down to AFC Women’s Football Day on March 8, with seven profiles of women in football here in Guam ! #AFCWFD Our fifth profile features Guam Football Association Technical Director and Guam Women’s National Team “Masakåda” head coach Belinda Wilson! Belinda was formerly with AFC as the Women’s Football Coach Education and Development Officer before taking on the AFC Director of Women’s Football role in 2008. Belinda’s even longer list of accolades also includes head coach of the Brisbane Roar Women, a professional team in Australia playing in the country’s Westfield W-League from 2012-2016, as well as head coach of the U17 Matildas, Australia’s U17 Women’s National Team, from 2013-2014. Belinda is also currently a FIFA Instructor and FIFA Technical Study Group member.
