Three seats were open for the upcoming 2025-2030 term, while one seat for the current term up until 2027 opened due to the relocation and resignation of former member Kazhakuttam “KK” Vikraman.

Fred Horecky was confirmed to fill the current term vacancy until 2027 and will continue as Chairman. Jack Chan, Laura Dacanay, and Jordan Pauluhn were all confirmed unanimously as members of the GFA Electoral Committee for six years beginning 2025.

Former Deputy Chairman Dr. Hiro Kurashina opted not to re-submit his nomination for the Electoral Committee and the Congress confirmed the appointment of current member Brad Huesman as the new committee Deputy Chairman. Also during the Congress, members reviewed and approved the 2023 audited financial statements following a presentation done by GFA Vice President and GFA Finance Committee Chairman George Lai, as well as the 2025 proposed budget. Congress members also reviewed GFA’s annual activity report, which is available for viewing in .pdf format on GFA’s official Web site at https://guamfa.com/contact-us/history-of-gfa/
