Close to 500 to play in 2024 Triple J Football 4 Schools Jamboree

[April 25, 2024 – Harmon, Guam] The 2024 Triple J Auto Group Football 4 Schools program will culminate in the program’s Jamboree event Saturday featuring all 24 participating schools at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

“All of our athletes expressed that they are looking forward to playing as a team, meeting students from other schools, and having fun,” said Mabel Uncangco, Assistant Principal at Upi Elementary School. “As a school, we ultimately are looking forward to supporting our students with experiences they will gain from playing in the football competition. We want our students to develop essential skills such as teamwork, discipline, dedication, hard work, and commitment. We also want our students to have access to opportunities in the community and they will attain these experiences from the football competition.

“Football 4 Schools has definitely had a strong, positive impact on our students because it allows our students to have real-life experiences,” Uncangco added.
