Budweiser 2018-19 Season Heats Up With Week 19 Matches

[April 8, 2019 – Harmon, Guam] In Saturday evening’s Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division matches, the NAPA Rovers FC defeated Lots of Art Tattoo Heat 8-1 to stay on top of league standings through Week 19 at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Golden Boot race leader Min Sung Choi led all scorers with five goals for the Rovers and teammates Mark Chargualaf, Kyode Lawson, and Dan Ito also scored. Seth Surber scored LOA Heat’s lone goal in the sixth minute of the contest.

Islanders FC overcame a 2-0 deficit to defeat Quality Distributors 3-2. Noah Duenas and Aaron Blaz scored for the Islanders in the win. The Islanders’ other goal came on a Quality own goal. Takefumi Inoue and Ernest Baah scored for Quality.

The Bank of Guam Strykers FC defeated Guam Shipyard 7-2 led by Ian Mariano’s four goals. Scott Spindel scored twice in the win and Jason Cunliffe also scored. Damien Khoo and Jan Flores scored for Guam Shipyard.

Manhoben Lalahi was forced to a 1-1 draw with the Sidekicks. James Lee scored for Manhoben Lalahi and David John Cruz scored for the Sidekicks.
