Bank of Guam Strykers win Jingle Bell tourney; sweep all 2025 U17 Girls titles

[December 21, 2025 – Harmon, Guam] The Bank of Guam Strykers FC U17 Girls Team once again proved its prowess in the age division capping a successful 2025 with a Jingle Bell Tournament championship match 2-1 win over NAPA Rovers FC Dec. 21 at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Two second-half goals from Meria Harmon and Hayden Wilson catapulted the Strykers to a golden finish in the year-ending tournament supported by Japan Football Association. Rhianne Nartia scored the lone goal for the Rovers in the first half.

The Strykers also won the U17 Girls Division in both the Spring and Fall 2025 seasons of Triple J Auto Group Robbie Webber Youth League.

The Strykers were the lone undefeated team in the tournament. The team defeated Tumon Typhoons FC 4-0 and the NAPA Rovers FC 1-0 on Day 1, and then defeated the U14 Girls National Academy 1-0 on Day 2 before advancing to the championship match.

The Rovers had a more difficult journey to the championship match with a 3-3 draw with the U14 Girls National Academy and the 0-1 loss to the Strykers on Day 1. The team followed with a 2-1 win over the Tumon Typhoons FC on Day 2 before earning their ticket to the championship.

At the conclusion of the championship match, medals were given to players and staff on the top two teams by GFA Women’s Football Development Manager Ariya Cruz and Ashley Besagar from the GFA Football Events Department.
