Wings Defeat Wolverines for Spring 2016 U10 Title

[May 11, 2016 – Harmon, Guam] – The Wings Red capped its undefeated season of the Triple J Auto Group Robbie Webber Youth Soccer League with a championship title following its final match victory over the Guam Shipyard Wolverines May 8 at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

The Wolverines came into the U10 division playoffs in the No. 2 position and defeated the No. 3 ASC Trust Islanders Betde in the morning of May 8 for a ticket to the finals, scheduled a few hours later in the afternoon. Wings Red defeated No. 4 Southern Cobras for its finals berth.

In the consolation match, the Southern Cobras topped the Islanders Betde.

In the regular season, Wings Red was the lone team to score over 100 goals in 11 weeks and also led the league defensively, allowing only 5 goals the entire season.
