
06 Mar 2015 Pacific Summer Invitational Football action begins
[April 30, 2015 – Harmon, Guam] Visiting team Claret School of Quezon City U15 Boys leads tournament standings following Day 1 action of the 2015 Pacific Summer Invitational Football Tournament held at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.
After dropping its first match to the Wings FC 5-2, Claret stormed past the Tigers 8-0 to lead all tournament teams by goal differential. In the Wings FC-Claret match, Sena Morimoto, Jordan Jasmin, Takumi Ito, and Inochi Recella scored for the Wings FC. The winning team’s other goal came on a Claret own goal. Anthony Uy and Elijah “EJ” Orodio scored for Claret.
Against the Tigers, Edmund Venus led Claret with a hat trick and teammates Austin Basconcillo and Michael Christian Trajano each scored twice. Anthony Uy scored Claret’s other goal.
The Tigers, however, didn’t go home empty-handed. The team salvaged a 4-3 win over the ASC Trust Islanders with three goals from Seung Min Kim and one from Kris Fernandez. Jonathan Sevilla, Joshua Bamba, and Donoven Ybanez scored for the Islanders.
