Triple J Auto Group donates truck as part of partnership

[April 4, 2019 - Upper Tumon, Guam] Triple J Auto Group recently donated a Ford F-150 pickup truck to Guam Football Association as part of its continuing corporate partnership in a presentation event held at the company’s showroom in upper Tumon last week.

“We are very excited to continue our partnership with Triple J Auto Group,” said Tino San Gil, GFA President. “With the continued growth of football in Guam, we have been working to keep up with the sport’s demand through initiating more programs and events for our athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators in the local community, and also by acquiring properties to construct more playing pitches thanks to grants from FIFA and AFC. This development could not have been possible without the support of our local business sponsors like Triple J that continue to believe in our program at GFA and its benefits to the local community.”

The truck, from Triple J Auto Group’s used vehicles fleet, will serve to provide GFA’s staff and maintenance crew a means to continue in the upkeep of the GFA National Training Center in Harmon, and soon, of new properties in central and southern Guam locations.

“This is an exciting time for our partnership, as GFA continues to build and elevate soccer on Guam to new heights, we look forward to working alongside them as they bring to life their long-term vision for progress,” said Jay Jones, Senior Vice President of Triple J Enterprises, Inc.

The sport’s expansion in Guam includes the development of playing facilities in Agat, Chalan Pago/Ordot, and Talofofo. These new venues come after the upgrade of the GFA National Training Center in Harmon with new classrooms, locker rooms, spectator seating, and Fitness Center. Currently, GFA’s Fitness Center serves Guam’s national team players with a centralized location for strength training and conditioning, as well as sports recovery.

Triple J Auto Group has been a GFA corporate partner since 2014 and is the naming rights sponsor for the Robbie Webber Youth Soccer League and Fair Play initiative. The Spring 2019 youth league season moves into its eighth week Saturday, with the season-ending Jamboree set for April 27.
