Budweiser Soccer Premier Division on week-long break

[November 13, 2019 - Harmon, Guam] The Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division takes a week break for the continuation of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Qualifier of the Asian zone Round 2 which will feature the Matao, Guam Men’s National Team, against the Maldives on Nov. 19 in the Maldives.

Through the break, the Bank of Guam Strykers remain on top of division standings, slipping past the Lots of Art Tattoo Heat 4-3 in a Week 4 match Saturday at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Marcus Lopez scored the eventual game winner in the contest in the 73rd minute completing a hat trick in the win. Scott Spindel scored the Strykers’ other goal. Lance Chargualaf, Jason Miller and Riley Jones Taijeron scored for LOA Heat.

Strykers win battle of undefeated Premier men's teams

[November 5, 2019 - Harmon, Guam] The Bank of Guam Strykers take sole possession of first place in Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division standings after slipping past the NAPA Rovers 3-2 Saturday at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

The Strykers, finishing runner-up to the Rovers last season, overcame an early 2-0 deficit the claim the victory and remain as the lone undefeated team in the division.

Jehn Joyner, Jason Cunliffe, and Isiah Lagutang each scored once for the Strykers and Min Sung Choi and Devan Mendiola scored one each for the Rovers.

Budweiser soccer premier division top 3 stay perfect

[October 28, 2019 - Harmon, Guam] The top three teams in the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division stay perfect with two wins in as many matches following Week 2 play at the Guam Football Association National Training Center Saturday evening.

Defending champions NAPA Rovers FC blanked Guam Shipyard 10-0 led by Michael Crowley’s four goals. Devan Mendiola contributed a hat trick in the win and teammates Min Sung Choi, Bryan Cadiz, and Ryan Quitugua each scored once.

Budweiser Soccer top division kicks off with 25 goals

[October 21, 2019 - Harmon, Guam] A total of 25 goals from four matches were scored on opening weekend of the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division Saturday evening at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Last season’s runner-up, the Bank of Guam Strykers, take the early top spot in league standings following the team’s 8-0 shutout of the Sidekicks SC. A trio of players from the Matao, Guam men’s national football team, earned their places on the score sheet: Marcus Lopez led all scorers with five goals in the contest and teammate Aidan Dickson scored twice. Isiah Lagutang scored the Strykers’ other goal. Strykers’ goalkeeper Sean Evans earned the clean sheet in the contest.

In other matches, defending champion NAPA Rovers FC picked up a 6-1 win over Manhoben Lalahi. Min Sung Choi led all scorers with two goals for the Rovers and teammates Mark Chargualaf, Dylan Naputi, Matt Robles, and Tone Yukinobu also scored.

Rovers recognized as sixth-straight Bud League champs

[May 28, 2019 - Harmon, Guam] The NAPA Rovers FC wrapped up the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division season with the team's sixth straight league title - finishing with an undefeated 19-0-2 record - and were recognized during an awards presentation event Sunday evening at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

Also recognized were silver finishers, the Bank of Guam Strykers FC, finishing the 2018-2019 season with a second-best 16-3-2 record.

The awards presentation event also included recognition of winners in the Amateur Division and the Masters Division.
